NYK, Northern Offshore Group to collaborate on new crew transfer service

Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) and Northern Offshore Group (NOG), a Swedish holding entity that owns Northern Offshore Service (NOS), have agreed to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a crewboat business related to offshore wind power generation.

The two companies will start a joint study of a new crew transfer service to contribute to the development of offshore wind projects in Japan.

NYK and NOS will also discuss the possibility of collaborating on the provision of crewboat services to overseas offshore wind markets.
