Royal IHC delivers second dredger to Port Authority of Douala

Royal IHC has delivered a new 3,000-cubic-metre trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) to the Port Authority of Douala (PAD) in Cameroon.

Mont Mondara is the second newbuild Royal IHC dredger to be delivered to PAD after the cutter suction dredger Vigilance which entered service in 2019.

For its first project with its new owners, the TSHD will be used to maintain the access channel to the Port of Douala-Bonabéri.
