P&O Cruises has extended its voluntary pause in operations in Australia and New Zealand to August 31, 2020, in response to continuing travel restrictions due to the impact of Covid-19.

P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell said an extension to the pause was necessary while Australia and New Zealand continue to make progress in combating the coronavirus pandemic.

The extended pause in operations will affect 13 sailings on Pacific Dawn (pictured) scheduled to depart Brisbane between June 16 and August 26. Pacific Explorer‘s 10 cruises from Sydney will now be paused between June 24 and August 24.

Lastly, Pacific Aria‘s six scheduled cruises from Auckland will be postponed from July 4 to August 23.
