Orion Group awarded US$16 million dredging contract

The marine segment of Orion Group Holdings has been awarded US$16 million contract from the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for the provision of dredging services in Galveston, Texas.

The project calls for the dredging and removal of approximately 3.8 million cubic metres of maintenance material from the inner Galveston Harbor out to the Galveston Channel.

The work will begin in the first quarter of 2021 and will be completed by mid-year.
