Lalandii Holdings’ newest trawler arrives in Namibia

Lalandii 1 (“Amberjack 1”), a newbuild freezer trawler, has arrived in Namibia to begin operations with its new owners.

The vessel was ordered by Spanish seafood company Nueva Pescanova on behalf of its Namibian subsidiary, Lalandii Holdings.

Built at Spain’s Armon Shipyard, the 50-metre Lalandii 1 is the first of three trawlers to be built for the partnership of Lalandii Holdings and NovaNam under a N$480 million (US$32.6 million) programme.
