The Damen Shipyards Group will soon deliver a new port maintenance workboat to Guinean company Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinee (CBG).

The vessel will sail on its delivery voyage at the end of April. The journey will take approximately four weeks.

CBG will name the vessel Lamine Camara. It has two cranes, 109 square metres of deck space, and two Caterpillar C32 634kW engines that deliver a bollard pull of 22.5 tonnes.

Duties will include buoy maintenance, seabed ploughing, and underwater debris removal to ensure safe manoeuvring and berthing at the Port of Kamsar.
