CMA CGM christens first 3,500TEU ship for French West Indies

CMA CGM christened its newest vessel in a ceremony in Martinique on Thursday, April 4.

The 3,500TEU vessel, which is the first of a new series of containerships that CMA CGM will operate in the French West Indies, has been christened CMA CGM Fort De France.

The ship was delivered in January of this year while identical sisters CMA CGM Fort Royal, CMA CGM Fort Saint Charles, and CMA CGM Fort Fleur d’Epee are scheduled to be delivered in the coming months.
