Eastern Shipbuilding delivers second tug in series to Bisso Offshore

Eastern Shipbuilding Group has delivered the newbuild tug A. Thomas Higgins to E.N. Bisso and Son subsidiary Bisso Offshore.

The tug is the second in a series of Robert Allan Ltd-designed vessels that include C.D. White, which was delivered to Bisso in January this year.

A. Thomas Higgins has a length of 24 metres, a beam of 11.5 metres, and two Caterpillar 3512E 1,900kW engines that deliver a bollard pull of 65 tonnes.
