Dubai operator adds marina tender to fleet

An unnamed marina operator in Dubai has taken delivery of a new rigid inflatable boat (RIB) from local builder Asis Boats.

The eight-metre, custom-built craft is equipped with a stainless bow tow post, a stainless polished stern tow post, a stainless steel T-top, and a fuel tank capacity of 500 litres. Two Yamaha 149kW outboard engines deliver a cruising speed of 48 knots.

The RIB is also fitted with a console with forward seat, two single straddle seats with stainless steel side handles, and a GRP seat with swivel back rest for passengers’ safety and comfort. The total seating capacity is for 15 people.

The boat comes with a flat foam push bow and with a bow pull post allowing the boat to assist and manoeuvre bigger yachts in case of distress or high wind.
