Seacontractors acquires dredging and offshore support workboat

Netherlands-based marine services company Seacontractors recently took delivery of a new shallow-draught workboat built by compatriot shipyard Neptune Marine.

Sea Olous is a sister vessel of Sea Eidum, which was delivered by Neptune Marine in 2023.

The 26-metre vessel is purpose-built for dredging and offshore operations and is equipped with anchor handling and towing winches. knuckle boom cranes on the aft and on the forward deck, and bow and stern rollers.

Two Caterpillar C32 ACERT IMO Tier III main engines that each produce 970 kW at 1,800 rpm drive 1,850mm nozzle-housed, fixed-pitch propellers to deliver a bollard pull of 35 tonnes.
