Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences takes delivery of survey vessel pair

The Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences (CAFS) has taken delivery of two new marine scientific survey vessels in a series from Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding.

Lan Hai 101 and Lan Hai 201 each have an LOA of 85 metres, a beam of 15 metres, a draught of 5.7 metres, and a maximum speed of 15.4 knots.

The newbuilds are the first CAFS survey vessels capable of operating in offshore waters.
