Acta Marine names recently delivered offshore support vessel

Acta Marine has held a naming ceremony for Acta Auriga, its recently acquired offshore support vessel.

The vessel was delivered by Ulstein Verft in May, 2018.

Since then, the vessel has been deployed as an operations and maintenance vessel for Ocean Breeze Energy’s 400MW offshore windfarm BARD Offshore 1. 

The vessel follows an Ulstein design and features an SMST 3D-compensated gangway and 3D-crane as well as an X-box and X-stern that optimise the overall seakeeping and workability of the vessel.

Acta Marine also has a sister vessel to Acta Auriga under construction for delivery early 2019.
