GEAR | Capital Link’s 15th Annual Shipping and Marine Services Forum to be held in London

The 15th Annual Capital Link Shipping and Marine Services Forum will take place on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 116 Pall Mall in London.

The event will be held in cooperation with the London Stock Exchange and in conjunction with the 2023 London International Shipping Week.

This event aims to provide investors with a comprehensive review and current outlook of the various shipping markets and in addition, cover topics of critical interest to industry participants, financiers, and investors. One-on-one meetings with executives of shipping companies are also available upon request for institutional investors.

  • 15:20 to 16:00 – Product Tanker Sector
  • 16:05 to 16:25 – Shipping: The Path Forward (1×1 discussion between)
  • 16:30 to 16:40 – Enhancing the Competitiveness of the UK Maritime Cluster
  • 16:40 to 17:20 – LNG Shipping Sector
  • 17:25 to 18:00 – Do Sanctions Work?

The lineup of keynote speakers includes Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy of the Hellenic Republic, Charlotte Vere Baroness Vere of Norbiton, UK Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for Aviation, Maritime and Security, and Arsenio Dominguez, Director of the Marine Environment Division of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and IMO Secretary-General-Elect. Nusrat Ghani, UK Minister of State for Industry and Economic Security, will deliver keynote remarks to the forum.
