SeaRoad Shipping’s new charter vessel Liekut arrived ahead of schedule at Station Pier, Melbourne at 08:30 on Thursday, March 25.

Chas Kelly, Executive Chairman of SeaRoad, said the ship had a smooth sailing from Cape Town to Melbourne during the 15-night voyage.

Liekut will be docked at Station Pier for the next few days for deep cleaning, Covid checks, operational checks, and a flag change.

The vessel will then move onto Webb Dock in Melbourne to prepare for its first arrival to Devonport over the Easter long weekend. The journey to Devonport will be a non-commercial sailing.

Liekut‘s first commercial voyage will depart Devonport on April 5.
