BMT and Adelaide-based builder Nautic Star have entered into an agreement for the construction of new naval interceptor boats ordered by the Government of Australia.

The boats will each have a length of 7.3 metres and will be capable of deployment from the Royal Australian Navy's Armidale-class patrol vessels.

The interceptors will be upgraded variants of the series of boats that Nautic Star has supplied to the Australian Border Force.
