Baird Maritime

Croatia'a Montmontaza Greben Shipyard has launched a new school ship, named the 'Kraljica Mora' (meaning The Sea Queen).

Godmother of the US$6 million vessel is Croatian Prime Minister, Jadranka Kosor.

The 35-metre long Loger-type vessel was a project initiated by Croatia's shipping institute, Brodarski Institute.

The vessel has a capacity of 28 students, four professors and seven crewmembers. The first group of students will be enrolled in January 2010.
