Your reviewer is the proud owner of three of these editions and has read them all from cover to cover. All have been excellent but, obviously, technical developments have necessitated upgrades.
This edition has gone further with the inclusion of a considerable amount of material on operating motor boats in heavy seas. It even includes a very useful section on Rigid Inflatable Boat seamanship.
All the contributors know their stuff and have considerable talent in explaining it all to the reader. The top quality illustrations provide the icing on a very delicious cake.
