Recently established Principal Maritime Management, owned by Veritable Maritime Holdings, will join Swedish company, Stena Sonangol Suezmax's pool, with its fleet of seven modern Suezmax Tankers.
Sovcomflot's SCF Samotlor, 158,000 DWT, recently delivered from DSME Shipyard will join the pool in mid-July. Stena Northern Marine Management, Glasgow, will handle crewing and technical management for all eight vessels.
The fleet will number 25 following the additional delivery in 2011 and 2012 of 12 Suezmax newbuildings ordered by Stena and Sonangol from Samsung and Daewoo Shipbuilding. This constitutes an aggregate of four million DWT and an average vessel age of 1.5 years.
