Scorpio Tankers has announced it has recently taken delivery of four vessels, as well as an agreement to time charter a product tanker currently under construction in South Korea.
The company recently took delivery of the LR2-series product tanker 'STI Orchard' from Daewoo Shipbuilding, the MR-series product tanker 'STI St. Charles' from SPP Shipbuilding, and the Ice Class Handymax product tankers 'STI Fulham' and 'STI Camden' from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.
Alongside the newbuilding deliveries announcement, Scorpio Tankers also revealed an agreement to charter-in an LR2-series product tanker currently under construction at a South Korean shipyard.
Upon delivery from the shipyard, the vessel will be chartered-in for one year at US$21,050 per day, with an option to extend the charter for one year at a higher rate.
