CMA CGM has taken delivery of an 18,000TEU container ship named after the great Chinese navigator Zheng He.
At 400 metres in length and a moulded breadth of 54 metres, 'Zheng He' is the largest container ship ever made in China. It has a moulded depth of 30.2 metres, a design draught of 14.5 metres and a service speed of 22.2 knots.
Shortly after the vessel was delivered, CSSC received an order from COSCO for three 20,000TEU ultra-large container ship.
