Dung Quat Shipbuilding has launched a crude oil tanker that is the largest vessel ever built in Vietnam, reports Viet Nam News. The 104,000DWT ship is 245 metres long, 43 metres across the beam, was built under a US$56 million contract with PetroVietnam Transportation Joint Stock Corporation (PV Trans). Dung Quat will deliver the ship to PV Trans in March 2012 when it is completed.
