Svitzer has taken delivery of Iron Dove, a new Robert Allan Ltd-designed 28-metre escort tug built at Med Marine's Eregli Shipyard.
Iron Dove offers compatibility with an array of fuel options, including hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), ultra-low sulphur marine gas oil (MGO), and DMA distillate.
The 80-tonne bollard pull tug was designed for maneuvering tankers, bulk carriers, and containerships.

Iron Dove measures in at 28.4 metres in length, with a beam of 13.6 metres, draught of 5.7 metres, and depth of 5.3 metres. At under 500GT, she has a speed of 12.5 knots and crew of eight.
