South Korean shipbuilding giant STX Offshore and Shipbuilding booked an additional order for a pair of handysize gas carriers from Chilean offshore energy group Ultranav.
With this order, STX Offshore has secured a total of eight new building units plus options from the company.
The most recently completed new buildings will be delivered in Q3 and Q4 of 2014.
"This move is considered an important step in Ultranav's long-term strategy for fleet renewal and expansion," said an official from Ultranav.
