South China's Nanning Bonded Logistics Centre is soon to open, having passed tests and an inspection from China's State Council.

The US$146.4 million China-ASEAN International Logistics Base covers 29.2 hectares and is made up of a customs supervision zone, a service zone, a customs inspection zone and a bonded logistics zone.

The Nanning Bonded Logistics Centre will mostly trade in Guangxi and surrounding provinces and cater to the needs of ASEAN member states as well as other countries and regions. It will specialise in transport, storage, packaging, distribution processing and delivery of production materials and consumer goods, as well as information processing.
