China: Guangzhou Port saw its cargo throughput tonnage slide 14 percent year-on-year to 51 million tonnes during the first two months of 2009.
Provincial foreign trade, which is declining due to the global economic recession, caused a slump to US$70.7 billion in January and February, Xinhua reported.
