Germany's SAL Heavy Lift and Dutch transport and installation contractor Jumbo have confirmed their intention to form a new joint venture company.
SAL said the Jumbo-SAL Alliance will combine a large part of the two companies' fleets, engineering, and commercial activities to make operations and logistics more efficient and provide customers with a one-stop solution for breakbulk and outsized cargo transport.
The joint venture remains subject to clearance by the German competition authority and Dutch in-company legal requirements.
