Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding (MES) has recently delivered the 56,000DWT bulk carrier 'Ton Hil II' to Marshall Islands-based Ton Hil Shipping.

Constructed at the shipbuilder's Chiba Works yard, the handymax vessel measures 189 metres in length overall, with a breadth of 32.25 metres and a depth of 18.1 metres.

Powered by an 8,000kW engine package supplied by MAN Diesel and Turbo, the vessel features a large cargo hold capacity of over 70,000m3 and is able to change out its ballast water for environmental protection.

Built to NK classification, the vessel is the 163rd ship of her series. She arrived to the client in mid-February.
