Indonesian state-owned shipping firm Djakarta Lloyd could face liquidation and has been placed in "special care" by the Indonesian government.
Djarkarta Lloyd is one of eight Indonesian state-owned firms that have been placed under "special care" due to declining finances.
Mustafa Abubakar Indonesian Minister of State Owned Enterprises told Seatrade Asia Online that it would evaluate small companies such as Djakarta Lloyd to see if they are worth restructuring. "If after in-depth review, and if deemed not necessary then we will liquidate them," he said.
