Hanjin Shipping has had a change of fortune, posting a much-improved 2010 net profit of KRW275 billion (US$250 million) compared with a KRW86.5 billion loss in 2009.
Sales in the container side of the business were responsible for much of the result, increasing 40 percent. The bulk shipping division reported a six percent sales improvement.
