According to local media reports, Turkey has won a tender for the construction of four corvettes for the Pakistan Navy.
Two vessels will be built by Istanbul Shipyard in Turkey while the remaining two will be built in Pakistan, with delivery in 2024. The Turkish-built vessels will be delivered in 2023 with the Pakistani builds scheduled for 2024.
Financial details of the construction order have not been revealed.
