CSCSC Huangpu Shipbuilding completed the fourth 1,000-tonne Type II surveillance ship, nine months ahead of schedule.

The name of the vessel roughly translates to 'China's Ocean Surveillance 26'. The vessel is 77.7 metres long, 10.2 metres wide, has a deadweight of 1,350 tonnes, a maximum speed of 20 knots, and cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles.

The vessel is equipped with advanced satellite communications and navigation equipment. With two engines and an adjustable variable pitch propeller, the ship reportedly runs at high speeds with good mobility.
