Vietnamese tour operator Havaco Cruise recently took delivery of two high-speed catamaran ferries in a series.
The vessels each have an LOA of 33.68 metres, a beam of 9.6 metres, capacity for 300 passengers, and two Rolls-Royce diesel engines that deliver speeds of up to 28 knots.
The ferries were completed at a cost of VND50 billion (US$2.14 million) each. One of these (pictured) has already begun sailing on sightseeing cruises in Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay in northeastern Vietnam.
