Baleària shipping company has taken delivery of the first of four eco-ferries ordered from the Spanish shipyard Gondán.
With a capacity for 350 passengers, the 28-metre-long catamarans vessels have a maximum speed of 28 knots.
Featuring a wave-piercing bow, the ferries will have two 1,081kW diesel engines and solar panels for onboard energy.
They are designed to operate in the Balearic Islands.
