Tjörn Commune has taken delivery of the FKAB-designed ferry 'Härön'. The vessel will travel between Härön and the Kyrkesund bridge on the island of Tjörn on the west coast of Sweden. It has also been designed to undertake the route between Rönnängs pier and Dyrön in sea area D.
The 'Härön' has a length of 12,65 metres and a capacity of 18 passengers.
According to the passenger ship directive the ship is designed for damage stability requirements. The hull is built of high tensile strength steel and ice class enhanced.
