South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) has completed a new sixth generation state-of-the-art drillship.
'Discoverer Clear Leader' was the first of its kind to be built at DSME and the first of five newbuild Enterprise-class drillships for Transocean, USA.
The vessel is now on its way to the Gulf of Mexico, after delivery signing on March 26.
The drillship is designed to be safely and efficiently operated in wells 12,190 metres deep and in 3,657 metres of water.
'Discoverer Clear Leader' has been chartered out and will be operated in the US Gulf of Mexico.
