Norwegian shipbuilder Simek has delivered its new UT755 platform supply vessel (PSV) 'Caspian Provider' to Topaz Energy and Marine, Dubai. The vessel will operate out of Baku in Azerbaijan.
'Caspian Provider' is the fourth vessel that Simek has built for Topaz. The overall length is 73.6 metres, with a beam of 16 metres and a draught of 5.91 metres. The 3,179DWT vessel differs from previous UT755 deliveries to Topaz in that it features an additional accommodation deck, which gives accommodation for a total of 40 men onboard, together with covered forecastle deck forward.
Topaz operates a fleet of approximately 100 offshore support vessels and provides energy and marine engineering services. The company operates over 65 vessels in the Caspian Sea. "Caspian Provider" will operate out of Baku in Azerbaijan.
