Petronas Carigali Vietnam has renewed its contract with Malaysia's Kencana Petroleum for the service and use of an offshore support vessel.
'Kencana Nautius', formerly 'Thrive Alliance', is a subsidiary of Kencana Petroleum Ventures, in collaboration with Yinson Marine Services.
The contract calls for the provision of an OSV to assist and service drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, diving vessels and other craft, including AHTS, off the Vietnamese coast.
The one-year contact is worth US$10.3 million and comes with an option for another one-year period.
