Vantris Energy has secured offshore transportation and installation work alongside tender-assisted drilling rig contracts in Malaysia, increasing its order book to more than MYR6 billion ($1.47 billion).

Its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, VTEB Offshore, was awarded a work order by Petronas Carigali under an existing offshore facilities contract.

The engineering and construction works commenced during the second quarter of 2026 and are expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2027. Separately, the group's drilling business received a notice of assignment from Petronas Carigali and a contract from Vestigo Petroleum for drilling rig services.

According to the company, the offshore development drilling campaigns are scheduled to commence sequentially during the third quarter of 2026.

“Following the completion of our restructuring, we entered the new financial year with a clearer strategic direction and a stronger operational foundation,” Group Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Zamri Jusoh expressed.

Jusoh added that Vantris Energy intends to strengthen its position in core markets where it has established capabilities and customer relationships. He said the company remains focused on offshore installation opportunities that match its risk profile while maintaining reliable drilling operations.
