The landing craft 'Victoria Tujuh' was built by Malaysia's Sealink International for its own use in Malaysia's Kuching and surrounding waters.

Designed by the Sarawak-based Wong's Shipbuilding Contractor and Designer, the vessel was built under survey to the American Bureau of Shipping.

The steel vessel has an overall length of 48 metres, a beam of 14.63 metres with a depth of 4.5 metres and a maximum draught of 3.2 metres.

The landing craft displaces some 1,855 tonnes and has a gross tonnage measured at 925GRT and a deadweight calculated at 1,163.6DWT.

The vessel is powered by twin Caterpillar 3412 DITA main engines, each rated at 632kW at 1,800rpm, with power diverted via Twin Disc 5225-DC reduction gears to drive twin fixed pitch propellers in Kort nozzles.

A single Volvo side thruster with five tonnes thrust enhances vessel manoeuvrability and launching effectiveness.

The vessel had an average speed of 10.4 knots at sea trials.

The landing craft has a ramp door with dimensions of 6.8 metres (length) by 8.8 metres (width) and a timber-sheathed deck with capacity for 600 tonnes, deck strength of eight tonnes per square metre and a total deck area of 336m2 (12 metres by 28 metres).

'Victoria Tujuh' has a crew of 21.
