Denmark-based Hvide Sande Shipyard has unveiled a new-generation SWATH vessel design, focusing on durability and ease of maintenance.
Constructed entirely of composite materials, the high-speed catamaran features a wave-piercing bow for improved performance and reduced slamming, as well as a high constant speed.
When operating in semi-submersible SWATH mode, the vessel minimises heave and pitch forces.
Other purported features of the vessel include enhanced crew comfort, reduced environmental impact, enhanced safety, and improved fuel economy.
