James Fisher and Sons (JFS) is continuing the expansion of its Middle East operations with the acquisition of Murjan Al-Sharq Marine Contracting (MSMC), a Saudi Arabia-based construction and maintenance services provider.
The acquisition also expands JFS' existing fleet of shallow-draught construction vessels, which will be used to work on projects with Saudi Aramco.
The acquisition of MSMC follows JFS subsidiary Subtech Group being awarded multi-million-dollar contracts in the Middle East in November 2018.
