COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard has delivered its converted floating production, storage and offloading platform (FPSO) 'Radiant Jewel' to a Japanese ship-owner.
The delivery documents were signed by COSCO Dalian and the ship-owner on October 19. The ABS-classified FPSO is 28.1 metres in depth, 58 metres in breadth, and 332 metres in length overall). The conversion of the former from VLCC to an FPSO involved steel fabrication, module installation and integration and the installation of cables, pipe and equipment.
