Brazilian marine services provider CMM has taken delivery of a Damen 3300-series platform supply vessel (PSV).

Named 'CMM Gravity', the vessel measures 80 metres x 16.2 metres and has a deadweight tonnage of 3,300DWT. Once handed over in June, the vessel will be deployed in Brazilian waters on a four-year contract (plus a four year extension option) with Petrobras.

The seventh delivery of Damen's mid-size PSV design, though classified to Lloyd's Register for worldwide deployment, the vessel will also be compliant to Petrobras specifications, including Petrobras Annex V.

On board, the 'CMM Gravity' features a 728 m² deck with a 1,500-tonne deck load capacity, as well as extensive tank capacities to handle different types of fluids and bulk cargo. The vessel is powered by four generator sets driving two azimuthing thrusters and two bow thrusters to a top speed of 14 knots.

Other features include Damen's bulb-less axe bow, a bright red corporate colour scheme, and DP-2 dynamic positioning.
