Başaran Gemi Sanayi has delivered the diving support vessel 'HBC Achiever' to Danish marine services provider Hyperbaric Consult.
Home ported in Belize, the 36-metre x 11.15-metre x 2.5-metre vessel will be used for a range of offshore support operations, including dive support, surveys, line handling and cable running to offshore wind farms.
Displacing 406 tonnes, the vessel is powered by two Scania 331kW engines coupled to Schottel gearboxes and azimuthing propulsion units. Her top speed is 11.5 knots, with a cruising speed of 10 knots.
The vessel also features a four-point mooring system and DP2 dynamic positioning, enabled via the installation of a Schottel side thruster and steering system.
Other installed equipment includes a crane, winch, and six windlasses on the vessel's working deck, used for the launch and retrieval of two on board diving baskets.
For man overboard recovery operations, a Viking rescue boat powered by a Yamaha outboard has also been provided.
