Supplier of professional marine food service and laundry systems, Loipart, has opened a new office in Singapore.
Teea Lehtinen, Vice President of Loipart, based in Sweden, said that the company saw potential in the growth of the Asia-Pacific area, especially for newbuildings and conversions for offshore projects.
"We want to consolidate the market for marine catering and laundry systems by providing complete catering solutions, genuine marine appliances, as well as first class after sales service to our customers," said Ms Lehtinen.
The new company will operate under the name Loipart (SEA) and will perform operations primarily in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand. It will be fully operational as of July 1.
