The newly released version of ShipConstructor Software (2008 R4.4) allows customers using the level licensing option to have 50 percent more parts per level.
"We decided to give clients more bang for their buck by increasing, for example, the maximum structural part count for level four licenses from 2,000 to 3,000 parts," said Rolf Oetter, President of ShipConstructor Software.
The increase is targeted at small and medium-size companies who will now be able to design and model larger vessels and work on larger projects with other designers and shipyards, thus opening up new revenue streams.
For enterprise level clients, ShipConstructor still offers unlimited level options.
