Italian shipowner Rimorchiatori Laziali has taken delivery of a new 37-metre tug with Ibercisa equipment.
The tug has a double variable conventional propulsion system with two 3.052 Kw/und motors from General Electric. The vessel can reach a speed of 14 knots.
The vessel is equipped with an MR-MAN/H/160/200-88/26-S/1 hydraulic combined windlass with a 30mm chain. The winch has a 200-tonne brake and 58-tonne pull on its first layer with maximum speed of 28 metres per minute.
The waterfall Escort towing winch model has two drums with capacity for 1,000 metres and 750 metres, with a maximum pull on first layer of 100 tonnes at eleven metres per minute, and brake capacity of 250 tonnes.
Each drum is equipped with one spooling device. The towing winch is also equipped with a 64mm chain lifter.
The tug is also equipped with two 120-tonne mampaey towing hooks, one tugger winch, and the electro-hydraulic power pack.
