Shanghai Chonghe Marine Industry (CMI) has placed an order for a new Antarctic krill trawler that will be equipped with onboard processing facilities.
Upon completion, the 140-metre vessel will be the largest krill trawler ever built and will be capable of operating in Antarctic waters for extended periods.
Delivery is scheduled for 2023.
