Salmon Evolution reports Q2 2025 harvest of 1,232 tonnes

Alan Bosworth

Norwegian land-based salmon farmer Salmon Evolution has reported a harvest of 1,232 tonnes head-on gutted (HOG) for the second quarter of 2025. The company achieved an all-in price realisation of approximately NOK72 ($7.13) per kilogram for the period.

Net biomass growth for the quarter was 1,604 tonnes live weight (LW), a figure that was reduced by approximately 100 tonnes due to a precautionary pause in feeding during blasting activities for phase two water intake pipes. The company reported an underlying biomass production of over 1,700 tonnes for the quarter.

At the end of the second quarter, the farm was fully stocked with a standing biomass of 3,043 tonnes. Salmon Evolution stated it achieved an all-time high production level towards the end of the quarter.

Trond Håkon Schaug-Pettersen, the company's CEO, said the fully stocked farm has a good biomass composition, "boding well for continued positive development in operational KPIs and harvest weights over the coming quarters."
