Norway: The Akva Group has signed a contract with Sundsfjord Smolt for the delivery of a complete UNI recirculation hatchery that will produce eight to ten million atlantic salmon smolts annually.
The system is the first of its kind in Norway and is scheduled for start-up in February 2010.
Akva will deliver piping, feed systems and underwater light systems for the installation.
